WHAT TO EXPECT
I am a natural light photographer. I shoot with available sunlight, on-location typically outdoor at parks, beaches, urban settings or in the comfort of your own home. Because I shoot with all natural light, mornings and early evenings tend to be the best times for outdoor shoots. Open shade works any time of the day. Overcast weather, cloudy days, if not too dark, can be great light as well.
I edit each and every image. And that image dictates the end result. That is because each image is a story that I'm bringing to life. My best photos are not posed. I capture the moment... interactions. It is more natural and produces photos that will have meaning to you for years to come.
If you have children, we will work together to get your little ones comfortable before I start shooting. I understand that each child is different, and I am prepared to let your child be my guide. If you have a shy, quiet child, I am ready to blend into the surroundings and help them forget there is even a camera there. If you have a more outgoing little one who is excited about his or her "photoshoot", then I am all ready with laughter and silliness! I promise you, this does not have to be stressful. If we relax and have fun, they will usually follow our lead.
